In 2019, the race is expected to have an economic impact of 9 million euros for the island.
Xisco Lliteras, Director of the Mallorca 312, pointed out everything that has been achieved from the first edition until now, “there are so many of us working, but the truth is that it’s such a huge satisfaction when the time comes and you see so many cyclists enjoying themselves and soaking in the 312 atmosphere”.
Meanwhile, this edition’s honouree, Alberto Contador, spoke about the atmosphere and about his eagerness to participate in the Mallorca 312. “I’m still not sure which route I’ll complete but I don’t rule out joining the Horrillo and Beloki team”, explained the rider from Pinto.
